Kindergarten
Lower & Upper Elementary
Middle Stage (Years 7–9)
Placement is determined based on:
Age eligibility (as of October 1st of the academic year)
Academic readiness
Entrance assessment results
Availability of places
Step-by-Step Admissions Process
Step 1: Enquiry & Campus Tour
Families are encouraged to begin by contacting the Admissions Office to:

Schedule a campus tour
Meet with admissions representatives
A campus visit allows parents to experience the learning environment, facilities, and school culture firsthand.
Step 2: Application Submission
Parents are required to complete an online application form (one per child).
Before submitting the application, please ensure you have:
Required student information
Parent/guardian contact details
Previous school details (if applicable)
Any relevant academic or medical information
Only fully completed applications are reviewed.
Step 3: Entrance Assessment
All applicants are required to complete an age-appropriate entrance assessment.
Assessment structure varies by stage:
Ages 3–5 (Preschool, KG1, KG2)
Small-group session focusing on communication, social interaction, and readiness skills.Grades 1–3

Grades 4–9
English, Mathematics, Arabic, and Second Language

📌 Assessment Fee: EGP 2,000
Payable on the assessment day
Refundable only if the student is not accepted
Not deducted from tuition if accepted
Step 4: Parents’ Interview
A parents’ interview is an essential part of the admissions process.
Conducted by a member of the Admissions or Academic team
Both parents are required to attend when applicable
May take place on the same day as the student assessment
The interview ensures alignment between the family and the school’s educational philosophy and expectations.
Step 5: Admission Decision
Following assessment and interview:
Applications are reviewed by the Academic Office
Decisions are based on assessment results, readiness, and availability
Parents are informed of the outcome through official communication channels.
Step 6: Enrollment Confirmation
Upon acceptance:
Parents will receive an official offer letter
A deadline will be announced for payment of the advance enrollment fee
Failure to complete enrollment within the stated timeframe may result in loss of the offered place.
All required registration documents must be submitted before the start of the academic year.
Priority & Consideration Criteria
Admission to Skylight Language School is selective and subject to:
Sibling Priority
Priority is given to applicants with siblings currently enrolled, subject to assessment results and availability.Curriculum Continuity
